Accommodation in the Heart of the City

Welcome to the Uránia Apartment Eger website!

Our apartment house is located in the heart of downtown Eger, just a few steps from Dobó Square, at 14 Széchényi Street. .

Our accommodation, located above the 100-year-old Uránia Cinema and created from renovated old bourgeois apartments, opened in February 2020. It was fully refurbished to achieve its current form. All our apartments are air-conditioned! While preserving the historic charm, we aimed to create a unique place to stay that also meets the needs of modern times.

The History of Eger

Eger is rich in historical monuments, with churches, synagogues, as well as museums, galleries, cultural institutions, and magnificent sights awaiting visitors.

The atmosphere of the city is both heroic and captivating, charming and welcoming at the same time. The centuries-old Eger Castle radiates the spirit of patriotism and courageous resistance. The clergy played a key role in the development of the city, building schools, community buildings, and a hospital. The Archdiocesan Library located in the Lyceum was also founded by Bishop Károly Eszterházy.
